Event English Terms of Use

Scope

These terms apply to the Event English website, Mission Calls, performance reports, free trials, paid mission packs, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Accounts and eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. Accounts and sign-in methods may not be transferred or shared. Paid missions are issued to the signed-in Event English account that starts and completes checkout. The payment account or email shown by the checkout provider does not determine which Event English account receives the missions.

Free trial, mission packs, and Event Ready

The free trial is limited to one verified account, lasts up to three minutes, and does not include a Focused Retry. One available paid mission starts one standard Mission Call. Time limits and validity periods depend on the plan. The Event Ready Program is a one-time 90-day product with 15 missions and does not renew automatically. Its curriculum is generated from the user-provided event and the published mission catalogue. Missions cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or resold. A 90-second Focused Retry is available with paid plans only where shown in a completed report and does not use another paid mission.

AI service

Event English uses generative AI and real-time voice technology. Responses and evaluations may vary and are educational guidance, not guaranteed professional advice or proof of language proficiency. Users must not submit confidential, unlawful, or third-party personal information during calls.

Payments, cancellation, and refunds

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Refund requests for English checkout purchases must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the transaction date. Eligibility, approval, and the refund amount are determined by Paddle under the separately published Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Paddle Refund Policy, and applicable mandatory consumer law.

Acceptable use

Users must not interfere with the service, bypass usage limits, extract prompts or credentials, automate unauthorized access, impersonate others, or use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes. Access may be restricted when misuse or security risk is detected.

Changes and governing law

Material changes will be announced through the service or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be handled by the competent court under Korean law.
