Event English Privacy Policy

Information we process

• Account: name, email, sign-in identifier, consent records, and optional profile answers
• Purchase: order number, product, amount, status, and purchaser email received from the payment platform; full card details are not stored by Event English
• Event Ready Program: event name, type, date, country or city, participant roles, business goal, and optional concern entered by the user
• Practice: mission, call duration, transcript, AI report, retry status, and technical event logs
• Support: inquiry, refund request, and related communications

Purposes

We use this information to authenticate users, deliver free and paid missions, build an Event Ready curriculum around a user-provided event, operate voice role-play and reports, prevent abuse, restore access after verified technical failures, process support and refund requests, and meet legal obligations.

Voice and AI processing

Microphone audio is transmitted during a live call to provide real-time AI interaction. Event English does not create or store a separate recording of the original audio and therefore cannot retrieve or provide an original audio file. Transcripts and evaluation results may be stored for the user’s history and service operation. Users should not speak confidential or sensitive personal information.

Service providers and international processing

We use Google Firebase, Google Cloud, and Google Gemini services for hosting, authentication, databases, monitoring, and AI processing. Paddle acts as merchant of record for English checkout and handles payment processing, applicable sales tax, invoicing, and payment refunds. Data may be processed in regions operated by these providers under applicable safeguards.

Retention

Account and transaction information is retained for the periods required by Korean law or until the purpose is fulfilled. Practice transcripts and reports are deleted by a scheduled retention process after one year unless earlier deletion is requested, except where legal retention or an unresolved transaction requires continued storage.
